Rasaballi wins hearts in Mumbai

It was a perfect Odia dessert for lunch at Lake View Cafe, Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel on Sunday.

Sushree Satapathy of Cuttack who is well known for her culinary skills was invited by the Secret Indian Recipes group to make and serve the authentic Rasaballi dessert on April 3 for the elite who had come for a Sunday lunch . Sushree said,” I love making Odia dishes and Rasaballi has always been my favourite . This Odia delight made with succulent cottage cheese  soaked in heavenly rabdi was an instant hit and was highly appreciated.”

The Secret Indian Recipe, brings traditional recipes from the kitchens of India and invites winners to showcase their winning dish .Rasaballi is also a part of the Chaapan Bhog offered to Lord Jaganath in Odisha. Sushree won a cash prize of Rs 7000 and also a sumptuous buffet lunch for four .
