Ravenshaw University ragging: Accused moves Odisha HC for anticipatory bail
Cuttack: Shubhrajit Roy, one of the accused in the ragging incident at Ravenshaw University in Odisha’s Cuttack, has moved the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
The Twin City Commissionerate Police had on Tuesday arrested a Plus Three second year student in connection with the incident.

Notably, a former student of the Ravenshaw Junior College who had come to check the merit list for admission to Plus Three courses was dragged by some senior students and thrashed near the Lalitgiri Hostel in the Ravenshaw University campus on Monday.
The matter came to fore after a video of the incident went viral on social media as we reported here.
