Recruitment: SBI invites applications for over 3,500 vacancies; apply before Aug 16

New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for recruitment to fill 3,850 vacant posts of Circle based Officers in seven states. The last date for submission of applications is August 16.

Candidates below the age of 30 years holding a graduation degree can apply for the exam online at the official website sbi.co.in before the above-mentioned deadline. Since there will be no written examination, selections will be made through shortlisting and interview procedures.

“However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct  written examination,” SBI said in a statement.

The recruitment will be held for seven states- Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Maharashtra. Merit List will be prepared in descending order (state and category wise). In case of overlapping of cut-off marks of candidates, they will be ranked by their age in descending order.  Candidates will be allowed to apply only for one state.

Aspirating candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs.700 with exception to SC, ST and PWD candidates, who will apply for free.

• Ahmedabad: 750 posts
• Bengaluru: 750 posts
• Bhopal: 400 posts
• Chennai: 550 posts
• Hyderabad: 550 posts
• Jaipur: 300 posts
• Maharashtra: 550 posts
