Registration for UGC-NET on, other important dates announced; see details

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Online registration and submission of application for the UGC-NET examination are on. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the UGC-NET, said in statement candidates interested to appear the exam can submit online application through NTA website – https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in – from August 10 to September 5, 2021 (up to 11:50 PM).

Last date for successful transaction of examination fee is September 6, 2021 (up to 11:50 pm).
In view of Covid-19 the December 2020 UGC-NET was postponed and the schedule of June 2021 UGCNET has been delayed. The NTA further stated in order to regularise the UGC-NET examination cycles, both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles have been merged. The UGC-NET will be conducted together in computer based test mode.

Apart from new applicants, candidates who have registered for UGC-NET of December 2020 cycle but have not been able to complete the application process, will be able to complete the process. The online application form can be submitted on either https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in or www.nta.ac.in.

Correction in the particulars in the application form (online only) can be done from September 7 to 12, 2021. Candidates can download Admit Card from the NTA Website on a date which will be announced later on the website.

The UGC-NET will be held from October 6 to 11 October 2021. The first shift exam will be from 9 AM to 12 PM and second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The slots of JRFs of both UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles will be merged, while the methodology for subject-wise cum category-wise allocation of JRFs shall remain unchanged, the NTA statement added.
