Reports on my resignation baseless, says Assam governor JB Patnaik

Assam governor and former Odisha chief minister JB Patnaik today said reports that he had resigned from his post are baseless.
Talking to Kanak TV, the veteran leader said he had met with the President of India to discuss certain issues relating to Assam.
” All reports that I have resigned or have been asked to resign have no basis whatsoever,” he said.
Patnaik’s term as the governor of Assam expires in December this year.
