Retd IFS officer falls off moving train near Belpahar, dies

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15:
A retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer succumbed to his injuries yesterday night after falling off a moving train near Belpahar in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.

Bijay Bahadur Singh, a retired IFS officer, was travelling on the Puri-Jodhpur train yesterday night when he fell down at Belpahar railway station from moving train.
The former forest officer was rushed to a nearby hospital here. Meanwhile, police have registered an unnatural death case and started investigation into the matter.
