RPF ASI falls off train, loses legs while chasing snatcher in Odisha

Khordha, Feb 1:

In a tragic incident, an Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Railway Protection Force (RPF) fell off a moving train while trying to nab a snatcher and lost his two legs at Khordha station in Odisha last evening.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Kishore Kumar Behera, fell off Prashanti Express while he was chasing a looter.

Two of his legs came under the wheels of the train and got cut.

He was rushed to a local hospital and later shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. His condition is stated to be critical.
