Odisha: Rs 1.82 lakh looted from finance company agent at gunpoint

Khordha: In a broad daylight heist, armed miscreants looted Rs 1.82 lakh from a woman, who works as an agent for a private finance company, on Kumarang road near Badasankha under Banpur Police limits in Khordha district today.

Sources said when the agent, Babita Patra, was returning to Balugaon after collecting cash, three miscreants came on a bike and intercepted her near Badasankha at around 10.45 AM. The trio looted the cash by brandishing a mouser and later decamped with the two-wheeler of the victim.

Following a complaint lodged by Patra, the Banpur police began an investigation in to the incident.
