Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to the family of Pradip Behera who was killed in police firing at Chandpur in Odisha’s Nayagarh district.

The ex-gratia would be paid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).

Besides, Patnaik also announced that the state government would bear the expenses towards the treatment of the persons who were injured during the clash with the police.
