Rs 4.5 lakh looted from motorcycle showroom in Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: Owner of a motorcycle showroom today lodged a complaint with Hinjili police alleging that Rs 4.5 lakh was looted from the cash counter of the showroom located at Bainchabania Chhak in Odisha’s Ganjam district last night.

As per the FIR, a staffer of the showroom telephoned the owner this morning and informed that the cash was missing from the counter. As the owner reached the spot, as many as three cash counters were found broken besides theft of the money.

The complainant had decided to deposit the money in the bank today and kept the amount at the cash counter.

Police have seized the CCTV footage and started investigation into the incident.
