Rs 6 lakh in new notes seized from youth at BPIA in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 5:
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) today seized Rs 6 lakh in new currency notes from a youth at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha.

According to reports, the youth was detained by CISF personnel at the airport while he was carrying the amount in two trolley bags.
He was later handed over to Income Tax (IT) officials for questioning.
The IT department released him after slapping a notice. He will be re-interrogated soon, sources said.
