Saif Ali Khan compares Tanhaji with Avengers?

Mumbai: Getting over the comparison of his character ‘Udaybhan’ with GOT’s ‘Jon Snow’, actor Saif Ali Khan recently said that for him, shooting for Tanhaji was like working for an Avengers movie.

In an interview during the promotion of ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’, Saif revealed that shooting for the movie was, in a way, shooting for Avengers because a lot of things were added later. The ‘Laal Kaptaan’ actor added that initially, they were not sure how the cinematography would look like but after watching the final output, they felt it was incredible.

Praising the cinematography of the film Saif said, “Ajay’s scenes in the movie had more earthy tone with warms colours like brown, red and yellow whereas mine was blue, cold and very gothic as I was playing the antagonist. The camera work and the action choreography were the most artistic things I have ever been involved in so far.”

Long-time buddies Saif and Ajay were last seen together in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara. The duo will be seen sharing screen space after 14 years with Tanhaji, which is scheduled to release on January 10 this year.

On the work front, while Saif has two releases lined up in 2020- Nitin Kakkar’s ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ and Mukesh Chhabra’s ‘Dil Bechara’, Ajay will have six releases this year including a cameo in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi as ‘Bajirao Singham’.
