Sambalpur: Bodies of two washed away with car by flood water recovered

Sambalpur: Bodies of two persons, who were washed away with a car by flood water near Nakatipali village in Odisha’ Sambalpur district yesterday, were recovered by Fire Services personnel this morning,

The deceased were identified as Tapas Nayak (50) and his relative Pratap Patel (52). Nayak was the Founder Member of Juhar Parivar, Delhi.

According to reports, the mishap took place last evening when the two were travelling in a car while the vehicle was swept away by flood water in Baratengara drain.

On being informed, police and Fire Services personnel reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation to trace the duo.

However, the two bodies were fished out of the drain today.
