According to the complaint registered by Pradyumna Patra on December 23 last year, Debendra Roul, elder brother of Santosh Roul along with some goons, abused him and threatened to kill him if he got involved with Baba, while he was returning home on December 12 at 3 pm.

When they rushed in to attack him with a sharp object, he raised his hand as defence and injured his hand. The miscreants also looted Rs 30,000 from him.

The FIR was filed by Pradyumna Patra on December 23 last year with Kendrapada sadar police station  and a case registered against three persons, including Santosh Roul, under Sec 341, 323, 324,294, 506, 379 and 34 of IPC.

Sarathi Baba has appealed that the complaint is false and has been filed under instigation by his former workers. Therefore, anticipatory bail should be granted to him.
