Satish gets title of ‘Kalinga Kumar’, Narayan is ‘Bhubaneswar Kumar’

Puri resident Satish Hooda was awarded the title of Kalinga Kumar in the State fitness competition, on Sunday which has its finals during the Lord Lingaraj Temple Rukuna Rath Yatra.

Arranged by the Old Bhubaneswar Rameswar club, the District and State level fitness competition finals saw Bhubneswar based Rashmi Ranjan Sahoo, Puri’s Laxmi Narayan Pratihari, Subhrajit Bahnipati and Baleswar S Krishna Rao take the second to fifth position.

While, Narayan Barik of Tussar gym was crowned as Bhubaneswar Kumar. Utkal Karate school Vichitra Nayak was second and Bolagarh’s Jagannath Khutia got the third position.

Around 80 participants from various districts of the state had participated in the competition. Former sports minister Suresh Kumar Routray, BJD MP Prasanna Patsani, Odisha Bodybuilding Association (OBA) president Chittranjan Swain among others were present during the occasion.
