Say ‘NO’ to Chinese products, urges Odisha traders’ union

Cuttack: In view of growing tension between India and neighbouring country China, Federation of All Odisha Traders’ Association (FAOTA) urged public to boycott the Chinese products.

The union at its General Council Meeting at Malgodown in Cuttack decided not to buy or sell the Chinese products any more.

In order to make people aware of the benefits made by China by pushing its products to sell across India, the traders union has decided to close all the commercial establishments for one day across the State.

The exact date to observe the bandh call will be announced at General Council Meeting of the union scheduled in last week of July in Bhubaneswar.

Informing about the decision, Cuttack traders’ union general secretary BK Mohanty said, “India is facing threats from China, which is earning more benefits by selling its products in Indian market.”

During such crucial period, the traders union is urging common people to quit the Chinese products, he added.
