SBI official carrying cash looted in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Unidentified miscreants looted cash amounting to around Rs 2 lakh from an official of State Bank of India (SBI) in broad daylight near Tundimunda Chhak under Kankadahada police limits in Dhenkanal district today.

According to sources, three armed miscreants came on a bike and attacked the Grahak Seva officer of the bank and later decamped with Rs 1.76 lakh from him.

On receiving information, Kankadahada police reached the spot and began an investigation into the incident. A complaint has been lodged in this connection and the cops have launched a manhunt to nab the accused, sources said.
