School girl abducted in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: A school girl studying in class X was allegedly abducted while she was going to school in Odisha capital yesterday.

Family lodged a kidnapping report with Chandrasekhar police following which raids are conducted in several locations to trace the abducted girl.

According to reports, the incident took place in Niladri Bihar area yesterday morning when the girl was going to school. A car, which is supposed to have been used for kidnapping, stopped near her. A youth came out of the car and asked her for an address. Suddenly, the youth dragged her into the car and moved towards Shaileshree Bihar.

The locals informed about the incident to the school authorities, who informed the victim’s family.

Acting on basis of the complaint lodged by the girl’s family, police continued their effort to track the mobile of the accused.
