School sealed in Odisha capital for holding classes

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today sealed a private school here for violating COVID-19 guidelines of the Odisha Government by holding offline classes.

Sai Saraswati Vidya Mandir school located at Chintamaniswar in the city was sealed by BMC’s South East Zone Enforcement Team as offline classes for students were underway on the premises.

Besides, the school authorities were also conducting offline examinations. Worth mentioning, schools across the state have been closed due to the COVID-19 situation as per the direction of the government.
