According to reports, people near the beach spotted demonetized notes floating on water yesterday about 8.30 am. The news spread across the city in no time and people thronged the beach to have a look.

Locals informed that about 7 am in the morning some people were sitting on the beach with packets in their hands but it’s not confirmed either they were locals or outside tourists. They are suspected to have thrown the money.

It’s reported that after the central government went hard on source of scrapped notes deposited in bank accounts, lawbreakers have started throwing stacks of ill-gotten money into the sea and other water bodies to get rid of income tax department raids.
