SEBI summons Odisha ponzi firm Green Ray’s officials

The Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has directed the officials of the ponzi firm Green Ray International, which is under probe for its financial fraud in Odisha,to appear before it on November 16.

green-ray-logoAccording to reports, a team of SEBI officials on Tuesday visited Jaleswar town in Baleswar district to serve notices on five officials of Green Ray International.

In the notice, SEBI has asked the Green Ray managing director Mir Sairuddin alias Gora, Abdul Khaliq Shah, Ayub Khan and two others to present themselves at its office at Mumbai on November 16.

Briefing the media, a senior SEBI official said the notice was issued to the aforesaid officials due to their non-cooperation in the investigation into the case registered against Green Ray International at the SEBI headquarters office in Mumbai.
