Sensex gains 25 points in early trade

New Delhi, March 31:

A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Thursday was trading 25.46 points or 0.10 points higher during the morning session.

The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 0.80 points or 0.01 percent higher at 7,736 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened atA25,364.75 points was trading at 25,364.04 points (at 9:15 am) in the early session, up 25.46 points, or 0.10 percent from the previous day’s close at 25,338.58 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 25,364.75 points and a low of 25,341.47 points in the trade so far. (IANS)
