Seven killed, 4 critical as truck rams into another in Odisha

Berhampur, Oct 29:

Seven persons were killed, while four others were critically injured after a speeding truck hit another truck near Randa square in Ganjam, Odisha today.

The terrible accident has happened under Golanthara police station when the driver of a speeding truck lost control and hit a vegetable laden truck which was being unloaded by labourers.

Six persons were killed on the spot, while, five others waiting for a bus also sustained critical injures in the accident after the truck ran over them.

The injured persons were rushed to Berhampur hospital where one of them succumbed to injuries.

Four critically injured patients, after their condition started deteriorating, have been shifted to SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack, according to reports.

Meanwhile, police started investigating the case.
