Seven percent hike in DA for Odisha govt employees

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15:
The Odisha government today announced a 7% hike in dearness allowance (DA) for its employees.

The DA hike in will be applicable with retrospective effect from July 1 this year.
Four lakh regular employees of the state government will be benefiting from the hike, said sources.
The announcement was made after seeking permission from the Election Commission, the sources added.
