Seven students among 11 test COVID-19 positive in Odisha

Phulbani: After reopening of schools, 11 persons, including seven students of a Government residential school in K Nuagaon of Kandhamal district have tested positive for COVID-19.

However, all of them have been kept under home isolation.

As per reports, four teachers, including the Headmaster of K Nuagaon Ashram School and seven students, including four boys of Class 9 and 10 have contracted the deadly virus.

Earlier, as many as 31 teachers and students of Gajapati district tested positive for the virus on January 9, a day after reopening schools across the state.

It is pertinent to mention classes of Class 10 students will continue till April 26 while Class 12 students will attend their classes till April 28.
