Sex racket busted in Odisha’s Balasore, four including house owner detained

Balasore: A sex racket operating at a house in Nahanjara village under Singla police limits of Odisha’s Balasore district was busted and four persons, including the owner of the house, were detained in this connection.

“Alleging flesh trade in the house, villagers had kept a sharp watch on it. Last night, they detained four persons and handed them over to us,” a police official said.

The detainees have been identified as owner of the house Manoranjan Pradhan, his wife, a woman and a customer, the official said.

Several objectionable items were also spotted on the premises of the house. Investigation into the matter is underway.

Pradhan is also accused of illegal liquor trading in the past, reports said.
