Sex racket in Odisha capital: 5 women including 3 foreigners rescued, 2 held

Bhubaneswar: Busting a sex racket running at a spa in Kharvel Nagar area of Odisha's capital city Bhubaneswar, the Twin City Commissionerate police today rescued five women, including three foreigners, and arrested two persons in this connection.

The rescued foreigners are said to be from Thailand. The illegal flesh trade was allegedly going on in a rented house on the pretext of massage service.

Reports said, acting on a tip-off about the sex racket, a team of police posing as customers reached the house and managed to bust it.

A register bearing the names of other persons who had come to the spa has also been seized by police, reports added.

The Commissionerate Police had recently busted two such rackets-- one in Nayapalli area and another in Laxmisagar area of the city.
