Shah Rukh frenzy in Odisha for ‘Zero’ release

Bhubaneswar/Berhampur: Shah Rukh fans in Odisha are all super-excited for the release of King Khan’s most awaited movie of the year, Zero today.

The Badshah of Bollywood will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar as a vertically challenged person along with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif and his fans all over the state are flocking to movie theatres to watch this larger-than-life Bollywood drama.

Shah Rukh fan club of Puri celebrated the release of the superstar’s film by coming down all the way from the pilgrim city to Keshari Talkies in Odisha capital to watch Zero, sporting Zero-themed T-shirts and matching gamchas.

“About 30 of our members have come from Puri to watch the movie in Bhubaneswar on Day 1. All of us loved the film and of course, Shah Rukh’s performance is simply mindblowing as Bauua Singh. The suspense at the end of the film makes us hopeful that a second part of the film is on the cards,” Said Partha Sarathi Rath, a member of the SRK Puri Fan Club.

Similarly, 200 SRK fans in Berhampur thronged Payal Theatre and rejoiced on ‘Zero Day’ (date of release of Zero, as referred by fans) by cutting a cake, dancing to the tunes of the film’s songs with a band, bursting crackers and taking selfies with a life-sized cutout of Bauua Singh.

“The storyline was also captivating. Shah Rukh Khan wowed us with his performance, especially with the chemistry that he shares with Anushka Sharma. Though the film has released today, our club will be organizing a charity event for the promotions of this film on Dec 23,” said Pritam Roshan, the admin of SRK FC Berhampur.

They gave movie passes along with T-shirts, badges and dialogue-inscribed wristbands, customised for SRK fans in the theatre.

Social media fans of the king of romance also commemorated #ZeroDay by putting up banners, sporting Bauua Sing tees and cutting a cake in Bhubaneswar.
