Shame! Minor girl from Bengal ‘gang raped’ in Odisha

Balasore: In yet another shameful incident, a minor girl from the neighbouring State of West Bengal was allegedly gang raped at Rasalpur village under Bhograi block here in the district.

The victim was admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Jaleswar after being rescued by the locals today.

According to reports, the victim was gang raped by some miscreants after she was given some drugs having toxic substances.

The villagers found her lying unconscious near a road on Saturday morning. She was immediately rushed to the Jaleswar CHC for treatment.

After getting information, the Bhograi police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.

The victim will be shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Balasore for better treatment, informed Bhograi IIC Narendra Das.
