A 24FPS Films Production, “Shorgul” is a political drama wherein an innocent friendship between a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl takes a communal twist when the boy is killed.

“In ‘Shorgul’ I essay the role of a prominent politician who’s got a sinister streak to himself. The role is very experimental as it’s something very contrasting from what I’ve executed in the past. It’s a story that I strongly think should reach the masses and create a conversation amongst the youth,” Jimmy said in a statement.

The film which is set to release on June 10 has been co-produced by Swatantra Vijay Singh and Vyas Verma.

“Shorgul” will also feature actors Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Suri, Hiten Tejwani and Eijaz Khan. (IANS)
