“The SIT asked me about the properties of the Maharaja. I gave them all related documents,” said Adhikari.

On the other hand, Purnima said that she had no relation with her sister from a long time, sources revealed.

Notably, the SIT is probing into six cases related to the incident. It is being assisted by a team from the State Forensic Science Laboratory.

It may be recalled here that Parala Maharaja Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deb’s former manager Anang Manjari Patra and her siblings– Bijaylaxmi Patra and Sanjay Patra– were found dead inside their house at Jangama Sahi here on August 21. While Sanjay Patra was found hanging in the drawing room, Anang Manjari Patra and her sister Bijaylaxmi Patra were found dead in another room. Santosh Patra alias Tulu — brother of deceased— was rescued from the house in a critical condition and admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital.

However, Santosh took his last breath at the hospital while undergoing treatment.

Worth mentioning, the former manager and her brother Sanjay were accused of financial misappropriation pertaining to the property transactions of Parala Maharaja.
