Nayagarh District Congress is going to organise a Sankalp Samavesh on Friday.

Veteran Congress leader Sarat Mishra has invited senior leader and former MP Soumya Ranjan Patnaik to the Samavesh to administer the oath of responsibility to party workers.

Besides, president of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) Jayadev Jena, president of Nayagarh District Congress and senior party leaders of the district have also been invited.

As per the schedule, Soumya Ranjan would be accorded a warm reception after his arrival at Sinduria at 11 am. From there, party workers would take him around the town in a massive bike rally. Later he would administer the oath of responsibility to party workers at the Soubhagya Manjari Hall at Nua Rajabati.

Before Nayagarh, Sankalp Samavesh has been successfully held in Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Sonepur and Bhadrak.
