Special OJEE to be held across 28 cities from September 3 in Odisha

The computer-based test will be held from 9 am to 5 pm in four shifts. As many as 38 centres have been set up for the purpose across 28 cities besides Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna outside the State

Bhubaneswar: The Special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will be conducted across the State from September 3, the OJEE Cell informed here today. The examination will be conducted  for MBA, B Tech and B Pharm programmes on September 3, 4 and 7.

Around 28,620 candidates have applied for the exam this time.  The computer-based test will be held from 9 am to 5 pm in four shifts. As many as 38 centres have been set up for the purpose across 28 cities besides Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna outside the State.

Aspirants can download their admit cards today by entering details of their contact and date of birth on the OJEE website. “Special OJEE could not be conducted for last two years due to the pandemic. The decision to conduct it this time was taken by the Odisha government after considering the improvement in Covid situation,” informed OJEE Chairman Sudeep Kumar Chand. He further stressed that the exam will be conducted amid strict adherence to Covid guidelines and wearing of masks would be mandatory without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Citing the disqualification of 32 students in OJEE Main, the Chairman asked candidates to attempt at least one question as per the exam guidelines.
