Sr Men’s National Hockey: Odisha beat Karnataka

Odisha defeated Karnataka by 3- 1 goals in their second match in the 4th Hockey India Senior Men’s National Championship 2014 (Division A) at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium in Lucknow this afternoon.

The Odisha team, which had lost to Uttar Pradesh by 5-2 goals in its first game, played an inspired game against Karnataka.

For Odisha Amon Mirash Tirkey, Deepak Kullu and Dispan Tirkey scored one goal each in the 12th, 56th and 60th minute respectively.

Biddappa BS scored the solitary goal for Karnataka by converting a penalty corner in the 24th minute.
