Odisha moved to the third round after they beat Haryana by 6-0 goals in the 20th Senior Women’s National Football Championship at Dibrugarh in Assam on Wednesday.

The Odisha eves took control of the match right from the start as the state team opened the account in the third minute through a brilliant 20-yard kick by Diggi Majhi.

In the 16th minute, Maneka Mallick scored the second goal. This was followed by two goals in quick succession by Subhaprava Rout in the 19th minute and Arati Anima Khadia in the 27th minute.

In the second half, Pyari Xaxa scored the fifth goal in the 58th minute while Subhaprava Rout completed the rout in the 77th minute with a spectacular 25-yard kick.

In the next match, Odisha would meet Karnataka on Friday.
