SSB Battalion personnel found hanging inside govt quarters in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: An SSB Battalion personnel was found hanging inside his government quarters at Rental Colony under Nayapalli police limits in Odisha capital, today.

The deceased was identified as Krushna Chandra Senapati (44). He hailed from Abhayamukhi under Balipatna police limits.

On being informed about the incident, police reached the spot, recovered the body for post-mortem and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances under which he died.

Though the reason behind the death was yet to be known, it is being suspected that he took the extreme step of killing himself by hanging due to mental stress.
