Student stopped from appearing in Odisha Matric Exam for not wearing uniform pant

Nayagarh: A student was not allowed to appear in the Matric exam at Daspalla High School in Odisha’s Nayagarh district today as he was not wearing the uniform pant.

High drama unfolded as the student went missing after the incident. However, he was later traced.

According to reports, Pradip Nayak, a resident of Krushna Chandrapur Patana village under Daspalla police limits and a student of Radha Mohan Jew Nodal High School, had come to the examination centre this morning as the Summative Assessment-II of Class-X students commenced across the state today.

He was wearing a black jeans instead of the uniform pant, for which the student was not allowed to enter the exam centre.

Being upset over the turn of events, he left the place and later went missing. On being informed, police initiated a search operation to trace him, but in vain.

Later, locals spotted him sitting under a tree near Bhutapalli and informed his parents.

Police have started investigation into the matter by questioning him.
