Eminent Odia writer Sujit Panda from Angul has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Odia Bhasha Yuva Puraskar’ by Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad for his valuable contribution to Indian Literature.

Mr.Panda had been honoured with the Kendriya Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2015 for his short story collection Manasankha. The young writer has also been awarded with the Rajya Puraskar 2004-05, Bhubaneswar Book Fair Award, Rabi Patnaik Puraskar 2008 to name a few. Some of his popular publications include Hental, Pharua and Manasankha.
