Condoling the loss of lives in the tragic fire mishap at Sum Hospital here, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) level inquiry into the incident.
Patnaik has also announced that expenses for treatment of those injured in the incident will be borne by the state government from Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
He also spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed the latter about efforts towards treatment of injured. The PM has assured all possible help towards the state from the Centre.
The Chief Minister today visited AMRI and AIIMS hospitals here to meet patients shifted from Sum Hospital after the fire mishap. He had yesterday visited Capital Hospital here to oversee treatment of evacuated patients.
