Mumbai: ” Blurred past evaporating from teardrops, unending dreams carving an arc of smile and a fleeting life, negotiating between the two…#माँ .” This was the last time when social media heard from Sushant Singh Rajput, an actor whose journey of life ended today.
A young boy who dared to drop out his engineering studies in the final year to pursue a career in acting and rightfully earned a place in the movie industry in a short span of time, today abruptly bade farewell to the world.
Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, who started his acting career with Star Plus’s romantic drama ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’ as a supporting actor, soon turned a TV prodigy with his lead role in one of Zee TV’s popular serials ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and from there, his journey to Bollywood was undeviating.
The 2013 movie ‘Kai Po Che!’ marked Sushant’ s Bollywood debut. Blessed with dancing skills along with acting, he went on and on with new projects, each carving a new peak of success for the actor.
Sushant’s role as ‘M.S Dhoni’ in the former Indian cricket team captain’s biopic gave him his first Filmfare nomination. Since then, his career graph marked a steep rise.
However, everyone is more surprised after getting the news of Sushant’s death today. It becomes difficult to understand why an established star with an inspiring career would suddenly end his life.
The year 2020 had already taken away two gems of Bollywood- Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. Now, with the loss of another promising star, the industry is shocked.
Soon after the news of Sushant’s demise surfaced on news channels, leaders, eminent personalities and celebrities took to Twitter to express their shock and grief over the loss of the young actor.
Here is a compilation of tweets from some celebs and eminent personalities from different fields:
