Sushanta Das new Odisha Board of Secondary Education president

The Odisha government today replaced the president of Board of Secondary Education (BSE). Sushanta Das has replaced Dakshya Prasad Nanda as the president of Board of Secondary Education. Nanda has been transferred as Director of Vocational Education.

In addition to this, the state government effected a minor reshuffle in the state cadre Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers.

The state government today posted 1986 batch IFS officer Sisir Kumar Acharya as the Director of Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) replacing Sudarshan Panda. Besides, 1986 batch IFS SP Mohapatra has been named as the new Additional PCCF (Wildlife) and 1987 batch officer Rajib Kumar is the new CCF headquarters. Similarly, 1988 batch officer Debidutt Biswal has been given additional charge of member secretary Odisha Pollution Control Board (OPCB). Biswal currently holds the post of special secretary in Forest and Environment department.

Similarly, two Odisha cadre IPS officers have been allowed to go on a Central deputation. They are 2004 batch officer Deepak Kumar and 2006 batch officer Amrita Dash. While Kumar will join National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi, Dash will join National Police Academy in Hyderabad.
