Temperature to rise further in Odisha

With the temperature shooting up in most parts of Odisha today, the local Met office has predicted that it would rise further in the next five days.

Heat Wave Temp“The rise in the temperature began in the state yesterday with Angul recording the highest 36.1 degree Celsius. As per the model indicator, there will be a further rise in temperature in the state in the next five days”, said Dr Sarat Sahu, director, Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, temperature recorded today was highest in Malkangiri with 37.6 degrees.

Besides, temperature hovered between 35 and 36 degrees in Bhubaneswar (36.3), Gopalpur (35), Angul (36.1), Baripada (35.6), Jharsuguda (36.1), Sambalpur (36.3), Hirakud (36.8), Talcher (37.2), Bolangir (36.5), Phulbani (35), Sonepur (36) and Daringbadi (36.5).
