The Street Store by Radio Choklate garners success in Odisha’s Berhampur

The sixth edition of ‘Street Store’ organised by Odisha’s most popular private FM Radio Channel, Radio Choklate, on Sunday in the silk city Berhampur witnessed an overwhelming success with over 500 men, women and children choosing and picking clothes of their choice, free of cost.

The store opened at 3 pm at Mahatna Gandhi cloth complex in Giri Market and customers thronged the shop for free clothes of their own choice.

Tanaya Patnaik, the Executive Director of Radio Choklate and Curator of The Street Store, thanked Berhampur residents for their contributions and making The Street Store such a success.

The ‘Street Store’ is an open source concept wherein apparels donated by people are put up for the poor and needy and gives them an opportunity to shop with dignity.

Notably, it was the sixth store organised in the city in association with Bakul Foundation after registering success at Bhubaneswar, Puri, Jajpur and Kendrapara
