These areas of Odisha’s Bhadrak sealed after 3 test COVID-19 positive

Bhadrak: The Bhadrak district administration today sealed multiple villages of Basudevpur and Bonth blocks for COVID-19 containment as three persons from the district tested positive for the virus yesterday.

As per reports, the villages were declared as containment zone and sealed. Entry points of the localities have been sealed and contact tracing will be carried out in the areas.

The three men (two of them hail from Basudevpur block and one from Bonth block) had returned from West Bengal and were placed under quarantine, reports said, adding that they will be shifted to Ashwini Covid Hospital in Cuttack.

Notably, 19 COVID-19 cases have been reported from Bhadrak district so far with 17 active cases as two patients have recovered.
