Three of family electrocuted in Odisha; one injured

In a tragic incident, three members of a family were killed and another seriously injured in a village in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district after receiving electric shock today, reports said.

Reports said a couple and their nephew were killed at Murunia village under Balikuda police limits while another nephew of the same couple was seriously injured when a live electric wire snapped over their house today due to heavy rains resulting in electric shock killing them on the spot.

The injured nephew has been rushed to the local hospital and his condition is stated to be critical, reports said.
