Rayagada, Feb 14:
Three persons died on the spot when a speeding oil tanker collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling near Jhinjarbadi village under Chandili police station limits in Odisha’s Rayagada district this afternoon.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post mortem.
While the auto-rickshaw driver has been identified as B Madhu, the other two deceased have been identified as natives of Muniguda where they were working as automobile mechanics.
Meanwhile, efforts are on to trace out the tanker driver who fled the area soon after the incident took place.
