Bhubaneswar: Among the people returned from Nizamuddin event in Delhi last month, three persons have so far tested positive for the highly infectious novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Odisha, confirmed Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department in a tweet.
The Government has identified 28 persons so far and collected their blood and swab samples for the test. Out of 28, three attendees were confirmed COVID-19 positive. The three are from Puri, Cuttack and Jajpur districts.
Nizamuddin link tally so far:

The department has urged people who have Nizamuddin link to voluntarily inform the Government by dialing 104 toll free number and provide their contacts details to get the test done.
We once again request all who have linkage to Nizamuddin incident to voluntarily call 104 and provide information about their contacts. There is no need to panic and hide. Anyone having any information about such persons may inform 104. Help us to keep you safe.

Worth mentioning, around 9000 people had participated in the religious congregation at Tablighi Jamaat's headquarters in Nizamuddin area, New Delhi in March. The event triggered a rash of COVID-19 infection in the country as around 400 positive cases and 12 deaths were found to have links with Nizamuddin Markaz.
