Thundershower likely over these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Thundershower is likely to occur in five districts of Odisha today, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.

The districts are Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak and Jajpur.

Thundershower with lightning and moderate spell of rainfall is likely to take place in these districts between 8.30 am and 11.30 am, a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.

The well-marked low pressure area over north Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas of Jharkhand and Odisha and associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height persists, the India Meteorological Department said.
