Thunderstorm alert for 10 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) center here issued thunderstorm alert for 10 districts of the state.

According to an IMD bulletin, thunderstorm forecasted for four districts such as Khordha, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Puri till 7 PM today.

Similarly, Ganjam, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Kalahandi districts have been sounded thunderstorm alert till 8 PM.

The weatherman has advised people of these districts to take precautions during the adverse weather conditions and avoid going out as gusty surface wind speed reaching up to 50 to 60 kmph is likely to occur in these districts.
