Thunderstorm alert for six districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Regional Meteorological Department issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for six districts across Odisha.

According to Bhubaneswar MeT, the thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind reaching a speed of 50 to 60 kmph is likely to occur in Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh till 8.15 pm.

In view of casualties due to lightning, people are advised to stay safe during the period in the evening.
